Tim McGraw enthusiasts will find an extra reason to express gratitude this holiday season, as the renowned artist has pleasantly surprised them with a new six-song EP titled “Poet’s Resumé,” released through Big Machine Records. Accompanying the release, there is a fresh lyric video for the EP’s highlighted track, “Runnin’ Outta Love.”

Crafted under the production of Byron Gallimore, the EP boasts compositions from notable songwriters such as Brad Warren, Brett Warren, Steve Dorff, Lori McKenna, Jeffrey Steele, and more. “Poet’s Resumé” serves as McGraw’s heartfelt gesture to thank his fans for their support throughout a significant year. This year witnessed the launch of his 17th studio album, “Standing Room Only,” in August. McGraw also received accolades like the ACM Icon Award and the President’s Keystone Award from the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). Additionally, he achieved his 47th No. 1 hit with the single “Standing Room Only.”

Having secured his latest No. 1 spot, McGraw’s career now boasts an impressive 69 top 10 radio hits. Notably, he extends his Mediabase record for the most weeks at No. 1 with all titles, accumulating a total of 74 weeks. Remarkably, McGraw sets a new record for the longest duration from his first No. 1 to the latest, spanning an impressive 29 years and six months, surpassing the previous record held by George Strait.
