Since we can’t have “CMA Fest” live in Nashville, ABC is bringing us the “Best of the Fest!”
The Country Music Association (CMA) announced Monday that Country Music superstar, Luke Bryan, is set to host one of the hottest televised nights in country music! The three-hour special will feature the most memorable “CMA Fest” performances over the years, including brand-new performances from Bryan himself with special guest, Darius Rucker.
The ABC concert experience is slated to featured more than 25 performances from the past 16 years of “CMA Fest” from Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn, Kelsea Ballerini, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Lil Nas X, Dwight Yoakam, the newly-named Lady A, and more! There will also be special appearances by Bobby Bones, Jim Gaffigan, Kirk Herbstreit, Peyton Manning, Lionel Richie, Rob Riggle, Gwen Stefani, Michael Strahan and Rita Wilson.
The festivities kick off Wednesday, July 1st when Jimmie Allen and Lindsay Ell host “CMA Summer Stay-Car” on CMA’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. And the party continues with “Best of the Fest” on Thursday, July 9th on ABC.
