It was a homecoming for one of the brightest young stars in country music. The proud northeast Louisiana native, Lainey Wilson, claimed Nashville as home during the first of two sold-out nights at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, TN. Wilson, who is the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, glided through each song with the showmanship and pizzazz that has become signature.
The audience, which was made up of peers, radio programmers, and fans alike, held on to every note and made it clear that they wanted more. The chants of “Lainey” echoed through the venue well past the time when the lights came up and the official encore had been delivered. The electric energy spilled into the streets, with fans chattering about what they witnessed and their thoughts on the show — all positive.
Wilson is currently on her 28-date cross-country tour, Country With A Flare Tour Presented by Stella Rosa Wines, with four more chances for fans to experience what Wilson calls “Bell Bottom Country.”
