Kane Brown to perform Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Halftime Show

There is something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving if you’re a Dallas Cowboys fan. After Dak Prescott’s devastating ankle injury in Week 5 and a 2-5 record for the season thus far, things haven’t been looking good for the NFL team. But Kane Brown is here to save the day; revealing that he will be performing the Cowboys’ annual Thanksgiving Halftime Show.

Brown made the big announcement during his interview with James Corden on “The Late Late Show” Tuesday night. The Halftime Show is a Dallas Cowboys tradition, and serves as the official kick-off to the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign. The funds raised each year through the Red Kettle Campaign bring much-needed holiday assistance to those in need. Brown has since shared a press release about his upcoming performance stating, “2020 has been a hard year, but every small act of generosity helps. I am honored to have the opportunity to bring awareness to the ways people can help during this holiday season and beyond.”

The 27-year-old chart-topping singer/songwriter joins a long list of country music acts who have performed the Thanksgiving Halftime Show over the years, including Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Clint Black, Reba McEntire, Toby Keith and many, many more. Known for his hits like, “Heaven” and “What Ifs,” we have no doubt Brown will make the country music family proud during his upcoming performance.

Watch Kane Brown during the Thanksgiving Halftime Show when the Dallas Cowboys take on the Washington Football Team on November 26th. The game kicks off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas at 3:30pm (ET)/1:30pm (PT) on FOX.
