Fans of Kane Brown got a pleasant surprise Tuesday morning, as he became the latest country artist to announce a one-night-only concert to be aired at nearly 300 drive-in movie theaters across the United States and Canada. The concert special will air on Saturday, September 26th and tickets go on sale this Thursday, September 10th.
First reported by CMT, the concert special will consist of full-band performances, interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. All drive-in theaters will follow the recommended guidelines put in place by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). You can find the list of participating drive-in theaters and purchase tickets here.
Brown now joins a list of artists such as Blake Shelton and Garth Brooks that have transitioned to playing drive-in shows in lieu of live performances that could risk the health of fans during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Brown is sure to play some songs off his brand-new EP ‘Mixtape Vol.1’, released in August, including his latest single ‘Cool Again’.
