90s hitmaker Joe Diffie died Sunday at 61 of the novel Covid-19 virus. It was announced that he had contracted the virus just two days prior. No other information is currently known regarding his death. His family has asked for privacy at this time.
Diffie reached #1 on the Hot Country Songs Billboard chart 5 times, including four weeks with his biggest hit ‘Pickup Man.’ His most recent solo album was 2010’s ‘Homecoming: The Bluegrass Album.’
