Crown Royal has a new spokesperson in Jimmie Allen. The singer is the latest to team up with the whisky brand for its Purple Bag Project, a service that supplies care packages to servicemen and women overseas. Crown Royal has now expanded the Purple Bag Project to include those working the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic. “I feel like it’s one of the things where the first responders and people have been heroes. It’s just sometimes you don’t realize how much you need people or you appreciate them until you’re in dire need of them,” Allen said. To further support the project, Allen hosted an Instagram Live #GenorosityHour on Thursday, which you can view above. All viewers age 21 and over who used #PurpleBagProject in a post would add a care package to the number that would be donated by Crown Royal, up to one million.
