In 2024, Cody Johnson is embracing a leather-on-leather aesthetic, coinciding with the announcement of his “Leather Tour,” named after his upcoming album, “Leather.”
Beginning in January with a show in Sacramento, Calif., the tour will traverse arenas and festivals throughout the U.S. Currently, Johnson has revealed 13 dates, with additional stops on the Leather Tour anticipated in the near future.
The initial leg of the tour will feature a dynamic lineup of supporting acts. Justin Moore and Dillon Carmichael are slated to kick off all shows, except for a performance on Feb. 10 in Arkansas, where Chris Janson will step in for Moore.
This ensemble epitomizes Johnson’s distinctive blend of rugged, traditional-infused modern country music.
Set to drop on Nov. 3, Johnson’s new album will have already been in circulation for a few months when he hits the road with his latest tracks. “Leather” will encompass his current hit, “The Painter,” and, in a tantalizing reveal, Johnson shared that it will also feature a duet with Carrie Underwood.
