Las Vegas has gone country again. Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan have officially joined the prestigious list of country acts to headline their own Las Vegas residency. The announcement came Wednesday morning that both acts would be performing six shows at the brand-new The Theatre at Resorts World.
It was rumored that both singers would be getting their own residency last month when they starred alongside Celine Dion, Katy Perry, Zedd and Tiesto in a commercial for Resorts World, which you can view above. As it stands, Dion and Perry will also have a select number of dates. As for Underwood and Bryan, Carrie will follow Celine, with her dates running from December 1-11. Bryan will then follow Perry, with his dates running from February 11-20, 2022. Tickets for both residencies go on sale to the public on Monday, May 24 at 10 a.m. PST. All information regarding dates and tickets can be found here.
While very little details have been announced regarding Bryan’s run, Underwood said that her turn will be called ‘Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency’ and will look back on her 16-year career following her win on American Idol in 2005, “as well as a glimpse into what lies ahead.” In keeping with the tradition of her past several tours, $1 of each ticket sold for this residency will go to charity, this time being the Make-A-Wish Foundation. You can find more information on ‘Reflection’ here.
