Boots and Brews Country Music Festival

[portfolio_slideshow]

Last Saturday, it was all about celebrating friends, beer and country music! Fans got “caught up in the country” at Boots & Brews Music Festival, with headliner Rodney Atkins and country music favorites, Frankie Ballard, Raelynn, Eric Paslay and more. The festival is well-known throughout California coastal towns like Ventura, San Luis Obispo and Santa Clarita. But for the first time ever, the festival took place at the Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center, bringing the best in country music to the Silicon Valley.

Fresh off his April Opry debut, up-and-comer Matt Stell wowed the crowds with his current single, “Prayed For You.” While Rodney Atkins had fans singing every word to his encore medley of “It’s America, “These Are My People” and “If You’re Going Through Hell.”

A portion of the proceeds from Boots & Brews events benefit the Gen Giammanco Foundation, which provides athletic scholarships to college-bound athletes on the Central Coast. This non-profit is particularly important to event organizer, Vincenzo Giammanco, as this foundation was created in memory of his sister, Genevieve.

Did you miss this edition of Boots & Brews? No worries! You can head down to the Ventura festival on September 21st (Line-up TBA). Or join Justin Moore, High Valley, Riley Green and Adam Doleac in San Luis Obispo on September 28th. [Click here to get your tickets]
