SHE SAID YES! It’s been a long time coming for Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, but they are officially engaged after 5 years of dating. Stefani took to Instagram on Tuesday morning to announce the big news. The adorable photo shows the 51-year-old pop singer smooching the 44-year-old country crooner, while showing off her new rock. Shelton shared the same photo on his social media, crediting Stefani for “saving [his] 2020.”
As many fans already know, Shelton and Stefani met on the set of The Voice in 2014 and have been a dynamic duo since 2015. Shelton has also played a very active role in the lives of Stefani’s three sons, Kingston (14), Zuma (12) and Apollo (6), whom she shares with ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.
Not only do they make memories together, but they make great music! Stefani won her first CMT Award with Shelton this month for Collaborative Video of the Year for their song, “Nobody But You.” They also released another duet together back in July, titled “Happy Anywhere,” which is currently playing on country radio.
Here’s to more great music, and spending the rest of their lives together. Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Shelton!
