Morgan Wallen Clinches Top Concert Tour Honor at the People’s Choice Country Awards

Morgan Wallen’s expansive “One Night at a Time World Tour” emerged as the standout event in country music! This extended journey, which kicked off on March 15 and is set to continue into 2024 with additional dates and makeup shows, earned the prestigious Concert Tour of 2023 award at the fan-driven People’s Choice Country Awards on September 28.

Due to a period of vocal rest, the “Everything I Love” crooner had to postpone several summer performances. However, his devoted fanbase rallied behind him, casting their votes and securing Wallen’s victory. He outshone fellow nominees Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Shania Twain, and Zach Bryan for this esteemed accolade.

It proved to be a remarkable evening for Wallen, who garnered the highest number of nominations and triumphed in multiple categories. Additionally, he made double appearances in three distinct categories, with “Last Night” and “Thinkin’ Bout Me” contending for Song of 2023. His collaborations with Ernest on “Cowgirls” and Hardy on “Red” also earned him recognition in the Collaboration Song category. Furthermore, his music videos for “Thought You Should Know” and “You Proof” were nominated for Music Video of 2023.

Adding to his accolades, the “Thinkin’ ‘Bout Me” singer clinched the night’s most prestigious title — People’s Artist — and his project “One Thing at a Time” secured the Album of 2023 award.

The inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards unfolded in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Grand Ole Opry on September 28. This star-studded affair, hosted by Little Big Town, was broadcast live on NBC and streamed on Peacock.
