2020 American Country Music nominee for Best New Male Artist of the Year, Jordan Davis, celebrates the release of his album Home State, in a
two-part series via Facebook, Instagram-Live, and YouTube, March 31, and April 1, 5 pm EST.
The albums single, “Detours,” is a self-reflective track incorporating words and lyrical phrases commonly found in similar songs of its genre. In keeping in tune with familiarity, “Detours” offers a story line of ‘love found in a dark place,’ similar to the narrative heard in the Rascal Flatt’s 2005 hit-cover of “God Bless the Broken Road”. The American country pop singer and songwriter signed to Universal Music Group Nashville’s MCA Nashville division, brings originality to his pop-country tale, in that “Detours,” reflects of his own by-chance meeting of his now wife, Kristen.
